Logistical workarounds, rerouted corridors, and cargo war insurance cannot fix the mounting crises facing global supply chains without world leaders actively negotiating diplomatic solutions, said DP World CEO Yuvraj Narayan. In a fireside chat at ET World Leaders Forum with Dilasha Seth, he said geopolitical actors should "make peace. It's not very complicated."Narayan was commenting on the impact of the Iran crisis that has stunted global supply chains.Highlighting the scale of current disruption, Narayan noted that DP World's flagship Jebel Ali Port terminal in Dubai is operating at approximately 10% capacity due to ongoing security threats surrounding the strategic Strait of Hormuz.
