What a bad look for the 49ers and the NFL.This past weekend, Jed York spent a day in jail in East Palestine, Ohio after pleading no contest to two misdemeanors, according to court documents. The misdemeanors were disorderly conduct and possession of a criminal tool. Court records also show that York was initially going to be charged with engaging in prostitution, but that was dropped.York was arrested at 9:35 a.m. on Sunday at Wheat Hill Mobile Home Community. What in the world was he doing at a mobile home community, and why was he there first thing in the morning? In addition, his cell phone and $160 were seized from him. The cell phone was returned, while the $160 went to the Mahoning Valley Human Trafficking Task Force. That doesn't sound good. The 49ers have yet to release a statement about this. Considering York pleaded no contest and is guilty, it's fair to assume that he will face discipline from the NFL under the Personal Conduct Policy, but it's unclear what the discipline will be. The NFL did not punish New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft when he was charged with two counts of soliciting prostitution, but he didn't plead no contest. His charges were dropped.Stay tuned. This story is still developping.Add us as a preferred source on GoogleFollow
