Aug. 24 (UPI) -- Oscar-nominated actor Antonio Banderas will be honored at the 2026 Premios Juventud.
Banderas, 66, known for Desperado, The Mask of Zorro, Pain and Glory and other films, will receive the Agent of Change award for his "impact on education, social action, and community development," according to a press release.
The actor's charity work includes establishing the Lagrimas y Favores Foundation in Malaga, Spain, which benefits the University of Malaga, CUDECA, AECC, Caritas, Fundacion El Pimpi, Economato Social Corinto and other organizations.
In addition, Banderas co-hosts the annual Starlite Gala fundraiser for the Starlite Foundation in Marbella, Spain, alongside Sandra Garcia-Sanjuan.
