A series of HIV/AIDS awareness programmes, including an awareness pledge, folk art performance and a rally, were held on the premises of the Coimbatore district collectorate on Monday.The programmes were organised by the District AIDS Prevention and Control Unit and presided over by District Collector Pavankumar G. Giriyappanavar.The Collector administered the HIV/AIDS awareness pledge, launched an initiative to display awareness stickers on autorickshaws and flagged off an awareness rally in which college students participated.
