Luxury real estate and branded residences in India are now gaining ground in India, driven by rising wealth and increasingly sophisticated buyer aspirations.For global brands, India represents more than a high-growth market. Real estate offers a long-term extension of brand identity, making the choice of Indian development partners critical.The entry of developers such as M3M India, Dalcore, Smartworld Developers, Signature Global, and Whiteland Corporation highlights the rapid evolution of India’s branded residences market. Globally, the segment has grown from 169 launches in 2011 to 611 today, with Knight Frank projecting 1,019 by 2030.M3M branded residential portfolio spans nearly 6.9 million sqft, through collaborations with The Trump Organization, ELIE SAAB and Jacob & Co, with a revenue potential exceeding ₹20,000 crore.M3M added to its luxury projects further with The Billionaire’s Block at Smart City Delhi Airport in Gurugram, anchored by Elie Saab branded residences and backed by an investment of ₹3,500 crore across its Elie Saab projects. Branded residences account for nearly 16 per cent of M3M’s GDV despite representing around 8 per cent of its developable area.In Gurugram, Smartworld Developers, in partnership with Tribeca Developers and The Trump Organisation, are developing Trump Residences Gurgaon.Launched in April 2025, the project comprises 298 residences across two 51-storey towers and sold out on launch day, with total allotments of ₹3,250 crore.In Noida, Smartworld Developers has partnered with global fashion and lifestyle house ELIE SAAB for Smartworld Residences by ELIE SAAB in Sector 98, marking the developer’s entry into the Noida market.Sam Chopra, President and Country Head, eXp Realty India said branded residences are finding stronger acceptance in India because buyers are looking beyond the address and asking what the property offers over the long term.As more global brands enter India with established local developers, branded residences will become a more important part of the country’s luxury housing market, he added.Dalcore, a premium developer focused on ultra-luxury, low-density homes in Gurugram, recently launched The Falcon, North India’s first YOO-branded residences, with YOO Inspired by Starck and London-based UHA, on Golf Course Road in Sector 53.Whiteland Corporation, with Marriott International, launched Westin Residences Gurugram on the Dwarka Expressway.
