Salem District Collector K. Elambahavath on Monday (August 24) inaugurated a QR code-based feedback mechanism at Government Mohan Kumaramangalam Medical College Hospital here.Speaking to reporters later, the District Collector said government hospitals in the district offer excellent treatment and hassle-free medical services to patients. The new facility is to further improve the services, as per the guidelines of Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay. Patients and their relatives can easily register their feedback on the quality of services at the hospital by scanning the QR code pasted at key locations, wards, or counters in the hospital with a smartphone and answering six types of questions in the feedback form, the District Collector added.Mr. Elambahavath said the feedback received through the QR codes will be immediately sent as automatic alerts to the respective department officials, and this information will be displayed on the digital dashboard of the higher authorities. It will be reviewed and the issues sorted out quickly. The data recorded by patients and their relatives will further enhance the quality and operations of the government hospital.Hospital dean J.
