Gina Acosta, former special disbursing officer for the Office of the Vice President, faced scrutiny during Vice President Sara Duterte's impeachment trial regarding her examination of documentary evidence for P125 million in confidential funds.
Acosta claimed she relied on Colonel Raymund Lachica's assurances and documentation for the fund's liquidation, stating she had no personal knowledge of the transactions, which included unusual names on receipts.
