Ukraine’s Defense Forces have confirmed the destruction of a Su-24M aircraft and four pieces of Russian airfield support equipment in temporarily occupied Crimea on August 20.
According to Ukrinform, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this on Facebook.
“On August 20, following the strike on the Saky airfield (Novofedorivka, temporarily occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea), Ukraine’s Defense Forces destroyed a Su-24M aircraft and four pieces of the enemy’s airfield support equipment,” the statement said.
Operations against key Russian facilities are ongoing.
