Divers from the Omega Special Purpose Center of the Ukrainian National Guard, using strike drones, destroyed a Russian Su-24M bomber at the Saky Military Airfield in temporarily occupied Crimea.

According to Ukrinform, Major General Oleksandr Pivnenko, commander of the National Guard of Ukraine, announced this on Facebook.

“Our special forces from the Omega Special Purpose Center destroyed a Russian Su-24M bomber at the Saky Military Airfield in the temporarily occupied Crimea,” Pivnenko said.

According to him, “the successful operation was carried out by Omega combat divers, who once again demonstrated their ability to deliver high-precision strikes against priority enemy targets deep behind enemy lines.”

As the commander of the National Guard of Ukraine reported, thorough planning of the operation was conducted after the target was identified. Just as the aircraft was preparing for a combat sortie to carry out another round of strikes on Ukrainian territory, the Omega combat drones struck the target.
