Deputy Director General of the National Cadet Corps Directorate for Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Andaman and Nicobar Islands Commodore Nambiath Sudeep visited the NCC Group Headquarters in Madurai and the National Training Academy (NTA) in Idayapatti for an administrative inspection.He was accorded a formal welcome by Group Commander of the NCC Group Headquarters in Madurai Colonel V.K.S Chauhan and was accompanied by the officers of Madurai Group. A Guard of Honour was presented to the DDG by the cadets of 2 (TN) Girls Bn NCC.The DDG addressed the NCC cadets and highlighted the importance of leadership, national service and discipline. He appreciated the exemplary commitment and dedicated efforts of the PI staff and the State government staff in the effective functioning of the NCC activities.The DDG interacted with the officers, staff and cadets. He encouraged them to continue their dedicated service and uphold the values of the NCC. A total of 14 officers, 35 State government staff, 30 PI staff and 12 NCC Cadets participated in the programme.He appreciated the achievements and contributions of the NCC personnel and presented tokens of appreciation to the staff in recognition of their commendable performance and dedicated service.
