Unexpected drama unfolded at the Madlanga Commission when controversial businessman Stuart James Scharnick was led away in handcuffs, after he allegedly threatened a journalist.
The Madlanga Commission of Inquiry descended into a scene of unexpected drama on Thursday when controversial businessman Stuart James Scharnick was arrested.
The high-profile arrest took place directly on the premises following allegations that he intimidated a journalist.
Scharnick, a known associate of suspended Deputy National Police Commissioner Shadrack Sibiya, was taken away by members of the SAPS about an hour after a criminal complaint was officially logged against him.
He is expected to appear in court on Monday.
