CALAPAN CITY, Oriental Mindoro — The Department of Health (DOH) in Mimaropa has vaccinated 109,371 children, or 35.03 percent of its target, under the regionwide Measles-Rubella Supplemental Immunization Activity as of Aug. 19.
The DOH Mimaropa data showed that 312,191 children are targeted for measles-rubella vaccination in the region’s five provinces and Puerto Princesa City.
Occidental Mindoro posted the highest vaccination coverage at 40.06 percent, with 21,993 of its 54,894 target children already vaccinated.
