The National Prayer Support Group for Good Governance has stated that it has its sights set on mobilising two million votes nationwide for all candidates of the All Progressives Congress in the 2027 elections.
Its Director-General, Abdul-Hakeem Atilade, stated this on Thursday during an interdenominational prayer summit held in Ibadan for the 2027 election bids of President Bola Tinubu, Sarafadeen Alli of Oyo State and other candidates of the party across all levels.
The event, which had Islamic and Christian clerics offering prayers for the 2027 elections, also featured the inauguration of the Oyo State executive council of the group, led by Abiola Mariam.
Speaking, Atilade said the group recognised the dual importance of prayers as well as the need to mobilise Nigerians to vote for the APC in the 2027 elections.
He said the group boasted membership across the 774 local government areas of the country, with a mandate to embark on door-to-door campaigns and amass two million votes for the APC.
