ABUJA: Youths of the ruling All Progressives Congress APC, have called on President Bola Tinubu and APC governors to embrace inclusivity in governance and accord them more recognition, while pledging to deliver 10 million votes for the president’s 2027 second-term ambition.

Speaking under the aegis of Youths on Ground Progressive and Mentorship Initiative YOG, National Coordinator of the group Dr Obioma Nwuba, said they are founded against the pattern of youths being summoned into politics only as thugs or ballot-box protectors, only to be discarded after elections, stressing that his organisation was instead building a disciplined structure of purposeful leadership in which young Nigerians are trained, organised and positioned as genuine stakeholders in governance.

Nwuba then turned to his call on the federal government and APC governors, insisting that hope cannot be renewed from Abuja alone but must be delivered in Abuja, Awka and Owo, and felt on the farm in Jalingo and the workshop in Benin. He urged the federal government and APC governors to recognise, endorse and partner with YOG as the grassroots delivery arm of the Renewed Hope Agenda, telling the president directly, “Mr President, you have given us the vision. Give us the vehicle. YOG is that vehicle, tested, structured, and already on the ground.”
