Opposition, Ethnic Youth Leaders, PBAT Movement Pass Confidence Vote in Tinubu, Amupitan, INEC, Security Chiefs Over Osun Poll Success

*Seeks more support for electoral commission, security agencies to deliver 2027 poll

Opposition political parties , Ethnic Youth leaders of Nigeria (Arewa consultative youth movement, Ohanaeze youth movement, Middle belt youth forum and Oduduwa consultative youth movement), PBAT door-2-door movement, African center for Justice and Human Right(Acjhr) have passed a unanimous vote of Confidence on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Prof.Amupitan led INEC Leadership, Heads of Nigeria Security agencies for their roles and efforts in ensuring free and credible election in Osun while describing the recently concluded Osun State governorship election as a significant victory for democracy and credible election.

The groups, which participated in or monitored the electoral process, said the conduct of the election had demonstrated that Nigeria could still organise competitive elections in which voters were allowed to freely express their choices.

They, however, challenged the Federal Government and INEC to ensure that the standard witnessed in Osun was not an isolated development but became the foundation for an even more credible 2027 general election.
