Ballistic missiles remain the greatest threat during large-scale Russian attacks, with 93% of cruise missiles being shot down.

According to Ukrinform, President Volodymyr Zelensky announced this on Facebook.

“Efforts are currently underway to address the aftermath of the Russian attack on the capital and cities in the Kyiv region. More than 600 rescue workers from the State Emergency Service of Ukraine and police officers have been deployed to Kyiv, Brovary, and Boryspil. I am grateful to everyone who is helping our people. In total, in Kyiv and the region alone, 30 residential buildings, a public school, a children’s hospital, and a kindergarten have been damaged. Unfortunately, as of now, 15 people are known to have died in Kyiv. My condolences go out to everyone who has lost family members and loved ones,” Zelensky said.

According to him, it is important that those who were injured receive all necessary assistance. “And it is important that Ukraine’s partners do not remain silent about this and other similar attacks and truly help protect our people and safeguard life in Ukraine,” he emphasized.

According to Zelensky, this Russian strike was one of the most cynical, calculated, and large-scale attacks. It involved various types of missiles and 168 drones.
