Vivo has also revised prices by Rs 500-4,000 on multiple models in certain regions. Samsung has hiked prices of a few of its phones in S-series, M-series and F-series. One of the variants of Samsung S25 has seen a price hike of Rs 12,000.OnePlus, too, has increased prices of select smartphones by Rs 2,000-4,000. “Recent pricing adjustments come amid broader cost pressures across the smartphone industry, driven by several factors, including rising memory costs,” a OnePlus India spokesperson told TOI, adding that its average increases have remained lower than or in line with competing brands.Comparison of price increase range. “The increase in memory costs has already pushed average smartphone prices up by around 15% by the end of Q2 2026, and continued increases in memory and other component costs could drive another 7-10% rise over the coming months,” said Upasana Joshi, senior research manager, Devices Research, IDC Asia Pacific.Shubham Singh, research analyst at Counterpoint Research, said, “These price hikes are becoming increasingly unavoidable, with brands raising prices across models and price segments, while new smartphones are also being launched at higher price points as OEMs increasingly pass rising costs through to consumers.”According to Joshi, financing and EMI options will be important in cushioning the impact.
