South Africa - Pretoria - 19 August 2026 - Suspended MP Fadiel Adams, appears before the Madlanga Commission of Inquiry.
Suspended MP Fadiel Adams returned to the Madlanga Commission on Thursday after a bruising day of testimony that exposed contradictions in his evidence and raised fresh questions about Crime Intelligence, the Political Killings Task Team (PKTT) and the Investigating Directorate Against Corruption (IDAC).
Adams was pressed by chair Justice Mbuyiseli Madlanga over a Commission notice he previously claimed to have seen only three or four months ago.
Emails produced during proceedings showed he had received and answered the notice in October 2025.
Adams conceded he had been “untruthful”, saying he had forgotten about the correspondence.
