Of course Bill O’Reilly would say this — especially since he clearly seems comfortable with autocrats in power. On Tuesday’s episode of “No Spin News,” host O’Reilly made a pretty wild declaration in response to Sen. Jon Ossoff (D-Ga.) calling out the weird relationship between President Donald Trump and aide Natalie Harp during a viral campaign rally moment over the weekend.“This Ossoff, I would not vote for — I’d vote for [Russian President Vladimir] Putin over Ossoff,” O’Reilly said. “That’s how bad this guy Ossoff is. Believe me, if I were President Trump, I’d be combing everything that Ossoff’s ever done — ever done — for doing this.”Bill O’Reilly, left, says he’d vote for dictator Vladimir Putin over a popular Georgia senator. Apparently, Harp, a former right-wing cable news host, is referred to as the “human printer” because she follows the president around like a shadow with a portable printer in order to give him hard copies of positive headlines and social media posts about him throughout the day.But this is not the only way Harp constantly fans Trump’s ego.She also leaves him notes like, “You are all that matters to me.” “I don’t ever want to let you down,” read another letter, per Haberman and Swan. Another said she wanted to be able to talk to Trump about “everything and nothing.”There’s also been reporting about the lengths Harp will go to stay by Trump’s side, like jumping into the trunk of a SUV when there wasn’t enough space for her to sit in the same vehicle as the president. Harp was also one of the few people who accompanied Trump on a catering truck after he snuck off Air Force One in response to a possible attack by Iran, leaving the rest of the people aboard the plane to act as decoys.Trump steps off Marine One along with Harp after landing Aug. 16 at the Ellipse near the White House in Washington, D.C.Tasos Katopodis via Getty ImagesTrump has also expressed affection for Harp by pronouncing her name with a French accent and, according to Haberman and Swan, told his White House staff that Harp “was the only one who loved him as much as his wife and kids.”The journalists wrote:“‘All of you will go off and make money,’ he would say. ‘She’ll never leave me.’”During his rant about Ossoff on Tuesday, O’Reilly was especially incensed that the Democrat thought Harp “should be denigrated and laughed at” and that Ossoff implied “there’s something going on here.”Sen. That doesn’t happen anymore,” O’Reilly said. The right-wing commenter said of Harp, “This woman is working for her country, whether you like the Trump administration or not. She has no history of doing anything untoward — none.”Watch the rant in full below.
