The driver helped bring home the Teams’ World Championship for Jaguar while securing two wins and three more podiums for himself. I felt at home so early on in my time with the team, and so to achieve what we have done this year is phenomenal and I am so proud of everyone.”Further talking about his teammate Mitch Evans, he said, “It is unfortunate for Mitch that he just missed out on the Drivers’ title, but he has been a great friend and team-mate throughout the season, and an absolute pleasure to work with. He wrote, “Yesterday, the goal was clear: to win the team championship. We headed into the final race of the year with a 5-point lead over Porsche. Throughout the season - and especially during Saturday's race - they employed aggressive tactics; when I saw the same thing happening yesterday, I switched to Plan B: we took a page out of their book and played the same game. And that’s fine - that’s what sport is all about, pushing everything to the limit. They beat us in the drivers' championship, and congratulations to them for that.
