The Portuguese driver also won the inaugural Shanghai E-Prix in 2024. Now driving for Jaguar TCS Racing, he has continued his strong form this season and will be aiming for another podium this weekend. Da Costa, along with team-mate Mitch Evans, will be looking to maintain Jaguar TCS Racing's recent strong form, which has lifted the team to the top of the Teams' World Championship. Jaguar holds a 30-point advantage over nearest rivals Porsche with six races remaining this season.Da Costa also finished fourth at the recently held Sanya E-Prix, continuing his impressive record on Chinese soil. Speaking ahead of the upcoming Shanghai E-Prix, the 34-year-old Portuguese driver said, "The races come thick and fast at this point of the season, so I'm really looking forward to the next rounds in Shanghai. We know we could have taken even more from Sanya and that gives us added motivation heading into the Shanghai double-header. Myself and the team have scored strongly there in the past and the aim is to do so again this weekend."Da Costa has secured two wins this season, one in Jeddah and another in Madrid, along with a third-place finish in Monaco. He posted a scenic view of the sea while dining at a seaside restaurant back home. He also shared a photo of himself standing with a group of friends in shorts on the edge of a cliff.
