I'm not a developer. I want to say that upfront, because it matters for everything that follows.
This isn't a polished "here's my SaaS" post. This is the real version — the version where I almost gave up twice, broke my own security without knowing it, got rejected by every directory I tried to use before I built my own, and still ended up shipping something real. If you've ever stared at a blank editor with zero idea what you're doing and still hit publish anyway — this one's for you.
A few months ago I was doing something completely ordinary — looking for a WhatsApp group to join, something niche, nothing dramatic. I typed the usual search, clicked the first "directory" result, found a group that looked right, tapped the invite link...
And landed on an expired invite. Group full, or deleted, or the link just dead.
Annoying, but not unusual. So I tried the next result. Same thing. And the one after that. Every single "directory" I clicked through was a graveyard of broken links — pages that had clearly been thrown together once, stuffed with invite URLs, and never touched again. Nobody was maintaining any of it. The internet was full of these lists, and every one of them had quietly rotted.
