Heavy rains damage roads, disrupt travel in Atok, Benguet

MANILA, Philippines —Several road segments in Atok, Benguet sustained damage due to continuous heavy rainfall, with one segment still closed to vehicular traffic, the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO) said on Saturday, Aug. 15.

In an advisory, the Atok MDRRMO advised motorists to be extra cautious on the following road segments which incurred road slip or partial slope collapse:
