KORONADAL CITY, South Cotabato — Two persons died while 10 others were injured after a multicab carrying more than 20 passengers fell into a ravine in Sitio Mudon, Barangay Upper Sepaka, Surallah, South Cotabato, shortly after noon on Saturday.
Leonardo Ballon, Surallah Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Officer, identified the fatalities as a certain “Joey,” the driver, and “Marilyn,” one of the passengers.
Most of the passengers were members of the Seventh-day Adventist (SDA) Church who had taken part in an outreach program in Brgy. Upper Sepaka.
They were on their way back to the town center when the accident happened, Ballon said.
