The Bimodal Voter Accreditation System (BVAS) has failed to capture the faces of some elderly voters at Ward 3, Unit 6, Ijebu-Jesa, in Ori-Ade Local Government Area of Osun State.
BusinessDay reports that about six elderly voters were affected by the difficulty, forcing them to wait at the polling unit for another attempt at accreditation.
Femi Ogunsakin, the Presiding Officer told the affected voters to remain patient and retry the process later.
One of the affected voters, 71-year-old Ajayi Omopariola, expressed dissatisfaction over the delay but said he was willing to wait to exercise his franchise.
