Valenzuela identifies roads, areas still flooded

MANILA, Philippines — Major highways and other areas in Valenzuela City remain flooded on Friday evening due to continuous rains brought by the enhanced southwest monsoon, or “habagat,” the Valenzuela City Command, Control and Communication Center said.

Despite the flood, the following areas remained passable to all types of vehicles, as of 9:45 p.m.:

Surface water, 1-2 inches

MacArthur highway along Malanday Boundary Cockpit
