The 20,000-square-foot training facility sits within the same Foxconn site that already assembles Apple's AI servers

Apple $AAPL opened a free manufacturing training center in Houston on Thursday and confirmed that Mac mini computers will begin rolling off an assembly line at the same Texas facility later this year.
The Advanced Manufacturing Center is a 20,000-square-foot facility embedded within a Foxconn campus where Apple's AI servers are already being assembled; it provides no-cost, hands-on instruction to small- and medium-sized businesses, the company said. Curriculum covers topics including machine-learning-driven quality control, advanced automation, and printed circuit board assembly design. The center is Apple's second U.S. manufacturing training site, following one that opened in Detroit in August 2025.
