Uber $UBER and Pony.ai announced an expansion of their partnership on Friday, with plans to deploy more than 2,000 Pony.ai robotaxis across Europe and extend the collaboration to the Middle East.

The expanded agreement builds on an existing commercial robotaxi service in Zagreb, Croatia, and adds four more European cities. No city names or launch schedule were disclosed; the companies said further specifics would be announced incrementally.
