Spirituality reminds us to celebrate who women are becoming, says the writer.
THE world celebrates what women achieve. Spirituality reminds us to celebrate who women are becoming.
There is something extraordinary about light. A single candle makes no sound. It does not seek recognition or compete with the candles around it. Yet the moment it is lit, darkness quietly begins to retreat.
Perhaps that is why some of the most remarkable women are like candles. Not because they are perfect. Not because life has always been easy. But because, wherever they go, they bring a little more light.
Women’s Month offers us an opportunity to celebrate remarkable women. We honour their achievements, their courage, and the many ways they have shaped our world. Yet perhaps this month also invites us to pause and ask a quieter, more personal question: Who am I becoming?
