A twin-hulled sailboat carrying Turkish tourists capsized and partially sank off the southern Athens suburb of Vouliagmeni Friday and all ten people on board were rescued, authorities said.

The causes of the accident west of the islet of Fleves off Vouliagmeni were not immediately clear, but very strong winds were blowing in the area.

The people on board the Turkish-flagged catamaran were picked up by the tender from a nearby motor yacht and taken on board, after which two Coast Guard vessels took them to Vouliagmeni.

All ten were reported in good health.
