US Full-Time Employment Falls for Fourth Straight Month, Market Commentator Says Labor Market Is 'Weak Be

Market commentator The Kobeissi Letter said the U.S. labor market is showing deeper weakness in full-time employment, pointing to a continued decline in the number of Americans working full time.

In a post on X on Thursday, The Kobeissi Letter said full-time employment fell by 106,000 in July to 133.55 million, the lowest level since December 2024.

The decline marked the fourth consecutive monthly drop, bringing the total decline to 1.11 million.

Since January 2025, full-time employment has fallen by 2.35 million.
