SAN ANTONIO, Zambales — The water level beneath the Kalaklan Bridge in Olongapo City rose to its critical mark on Friday as rains continued over the city due to the southwest monsoon, or habagat.

As of 11:33 a.m., waters at the Kalaklan Bridge reached 2.6 meters, up from 2.1 meters recorded earlier in the morning, according to the City Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office, citing monitoring reports from concerned barangays.
