MANILA, Philippines — President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. on Friday sounded the alarm on the negative effects of some social media content on children, particularly on their critical judgment and overall development.
Marcos raised this concern during the Foreign Correspondents Association of the Philippines (Focap) Presidential Luncheon in Manila.

“As a parent, I am increasingly mindful of the influence of social media and online platforms on our children,” he said in his opening speech.
