Ukrainian forces engaged in 222 combat clashes with Russian invading forces on August 13, with the Kostiantynivka axis seeing the heaviest fighting.
According to Ukrinform, the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported this in a Facebook post on the battlefield situation as of 08:00 on Friday, August 14.
On August 13, the enemy launched 76 airstrikes, dropping 237 guided aerial bombs. They also used 10,027 kamikaze drones and carried out 3,011 attacks on populated areas and Ukrainian troop positions.
The settlements of Koreniok, Ulanove, Vyntorivka, Yastrubshchyna and Seredyna-Buda in the Sumy region came under Russian artillery fire. Airstrikes targeted the areas around Velyka Chernechchyna and Tovstodubove in the Sumy region.
Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian aviation, missile forces and artillery struck 14 areas where Russian personnel were concentrated, as well as two command posts for unmanned aerial vehicles.
