Mundane text messages Lindsay Clancy sent her husband as he was out running errands on the day she killed her three children were read at trial Thursday along with video showing a family trip to the museum just weeks before the tragedy.
Clancy, 36, is accused of murdering Cora, five, Dawson, three, and eight-month-old Callan, at her home in Duxbury, Massachusetts, on January 24, 2023.
She has admitted to killing her children but pleaded not guilty to murder by reason of insanity, citing postpartum psychosis, as she sues her former healthcare providers for medical malpractice and negligence.
But jurors on Thursday heard how the mom-of-three was casually texting her then-husband, Patrick, just one hour before the children were found dead.
They also saw video of the family enjoying a day out at the Museum of Science in Boston, which made Clancy visibly emotional as it played.
