‘Proof of concept’: EHR nudges can improve guideline-concordant cancer care

An electronic health record nudge-based intervention led to a significant increase in molecular testing among patients with early-stage non-small cell lung cancer.The trial provided “proof of concept” for the strategy, which could be applied in the neoadjuvant setting for nonsquamous NSCLC, and broadly within cancer care, both at large centers and in the community setting.
