AN ALLEGED 16-year-old smash-and-grabber had his luck run out after robbing a car on the N2 before being killed just seconds later by nog ’n kar on Tuesday.
According to reports, the teen was fleeing from a smash-and-grab incident when he was struck by an oncoming vehicle during peak traffic.
Fed-up mense online said, ‘dis goed soe (serves you right),’ with some even saying the teen deserved it.
One motorist who takes the N2 elke dag told the Daily Voice that the route is most dangerous during peak hours.
He said: “It is unfortunate that he had to meet his death like this, but they don’t listen. These smash-and-grabbers are so young with an entire future ahead of them, but this is what they prefer to do.
