Supreme Court Justice Alexandre de Moraes ordered a search and seizure operation targeting Raimundo Cutrim.

The Federal Police identifies him as an informant for blogger Luís Pablo, who has published articles critical of Flávio Dino, also a Supreme Court justice.

The Federal Police carried out the operation on Tuesday (11). The investigation concerns the acquisition and disclosure of information about Dino.

The investigation began in November. According to police, Cutrim, a former secretary in the Maranhão state government, obtained the data and passed it on to the blogger.

In a statement, Luís Pablo called the move an attempt to criminalize journalistic activity, while Cutrim's defense said it viewed the decision with "surprise."
