As the world marks International Youth Day, the Anambra State First Lady, Dr Nonye Soludo, has urged youths across the country to believe in themselves and keep learning, adding that they are not merely the leaders of tomorrow but real changemakers shaping the world.
Soludo, who is the founder of the non-governmental organisation, Healthy Living with Nonye Soludo, said young people should never underestimate the difference they can make, emphasising that their ideas, energy and courage are needed to build the future society truly desires.
She stated this in a press statement issued on Wednesday as part of activities commemorating International Youth Day, marked globally by the United Nations on August 12.
She said, “Young people are not merely the leaders of tomorrow; they are the real changemakers, innovators, entrepreneurs, creators and problem-solvers shaping our world today.
“As we celebrate International Youth Day, let’s continue to create spaces where our young people can learn, build, lead and thrive. Every young person deserves the opportunity to discover their potential and turn their dreams into meaningful impact. The world owes them that.
