Russian military personnel losses reached 42,860 in July 2026, the highest monthly figure since January 2025.
That is according to the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, citing data from the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Ukrinform reports.
July was thus the fourth-most effective month for Ukrainian forces in terms of inflicting personnel losses on Russian forces since the start of the full-scale invasion.
According to the General Staff, total Russian military personnel losses since the beginning of the full-scale invasion have reached 1,461,660.
In July, Ukraine's Defense Forces continued their systematic efforts to degrade Russia's air defense capabilities and logistics.
