Russian forces suffered their highest personnel losses of 2026 in July, with 42,860 troops killed or wounded.
According to Ukrinform, the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces said this in a post on Facebook.
The monthly breakdown of Russian personnel losses in 2026 is as follows: January – 31,710; February – 26,090; March – 31,960; April – 32,980; May – 33,760; June – 39,290; and July – 42,860, the highest figure of 2026.
In total, Russian forces lost 238,650 personnel during the first seven months of 2026.
