Strong winds and rough seas are expected along parts of the Eastern Cape coast on Wednesday.
The South African Weather Service issued a Yellow level 1 warning for the Eastern Cape on Wednesday.
The weather service has predicted partly cloudy weather in the west of the country. Otherwise, cloudy, windy, and cold to very cold with isolated showers and rain over the central and eastern parts but scattered along the east coast and adjacent interior.
The weather service said snowfall is still expected in mountainous areas.
The Yellow Level 1 warning issued.
