There was much more than polished cars, booming sound systems and modified engines on display at Apia Park this week.
There was generosity.
The Paint and Audio car show demonstrated what can happen when people take something they are passionate about and use it to help others. More than 160 vehicles registered, hundreds of people attended and, ultimately, $30,350 was raised for the newly established Samoa Otisi Society.
That is an achievement worth recognising.
Paint and Audio founder Christopher Feesago, event coordinator Justin Williams, major sponsors Taxi and Ah Liki Wholesale, participating car clubs, vehicle owners, supporters from American Samoa and everyone who paid to attend deserve acknowledgement.
