Despite the instalment being aired on ITV2 this evening (August 11) being a repeat of an edition originally broadcast back in November last year, it presented a memorable moment.Nathaniel Elder, a student of computer science and philosophy avoided being tripped up by the early question. Mack jokes that "they do get harder these questions" as the player hesitated slightly when asked how old he was before answering "Err, 20."However, the comedian was soon lost for words as their conversation continued. Nathaniel revealed that in his spare time he likes to 'collect things'.He said: "I like to collect things. That's my main thing. My current big collection are eyelashes." He then retrieved from his pocket a small plastic container, inside which were apparently a large amount of eyelashes.Lee screwed up his face upon the reveal and said: "That is absolutely disgusting." He then asked: "Are you sure they're eyelashes? How many years of eyelashes of that?"Nathanial explained he'd been collecting them for two and a half years and that he finds them on his face while also suggesting he picks the longer ones. Quizzed how he could tell if they are his own eyelashes, he replied: " A father always knows."Lee was initially confused, thinking Nathaniel's father tells him before realising he was referring to himself as the parent of his own eyelashes. The quizmaster quipped: "What are you talking about?" He also suggested he switched to studying psychology.Later in the show, Nathaniel managed to make it through to the 1% question. He was joined by three other players and did not use his pass to skip answering an earlier round.Article continues belowThis lead to one fan sharing online: "What a performance from that boy Nathaniel. Didn't even us his pass!"The 1% question revealed an image and the players were asked to count the number of squares shown. Unfortunately, Nathaniel failed to answer correctly and missed out on the prize. Martin was the only one to answer correctly with '46' and took home £95,000.The 1% Club is streaming on ITVXChoose Daily Mirror as a 'Preferred Source' on Google News for quick access to the news you value.ITVITVXLee Mack
