The Egmore police have launched a search for two motorcycle-borne men who allegedly snatched a chain from a 65-year-old domestic worker on Tuesday morning.The victim, T. Rama, a resident of Gerrard Garden near Casa Major Road, works at the residence of a Madras High Court lawyer. Police said Rama was walking to her workplace when two men on a motorcycle approached her. The pillion rider allegedly snatched the chain she was wearing and the duo fled the spot.Rama alerted the police, who rushed to the scene and launched an investigation. During the inquiry, police found that the chain snatched by the suspects was an imitation jewellery and not gold.
