Adeleke further accused the former governor and his political allies of using the name of President Tinubu to intimidate opposition supporters and facilitate arrests.
The Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, has accused his predecessor, Gboyega Oyetola, of still nursing the pain of his defeat in the 2022 governorship election, stating that Oyetola has been using his relationship with President Bola Tinubu to cause problems in the state.
Adeleke made this known during a governorship town hall meeting held at the Aurora Events Centre in Osogbo, the Osun State capital.
The governor, while responding to criticisms over his public dancing and his style of governance, said his ability to dance should not be interpreted as a lack of seriousness or commitment to governance.
Adeleke said dancing was a hobby and part of his family’s culture, insisting that it had not affected his performance in office.
