The Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) on Tuesday announced that the 35th Rajiv Jyoti Sadbhavana Yatra will pass through Telangana between August 12 and 15 as part of its journey from Sriperumbudur in Tamil Nadu to New Delhi.TPCC president and MLC B. Mahesh Kumar Goud, Mr. Mahesh Kumar Goud appealed to party leaders and workers to ensure the success of the programme through active participation and coordination.According to the TPCC, the yatra commenced from Sriperumbudur on August 9, the place associated with Rajiv Gandhi’s martyrdom, and will conclude in New Delhi on August 20.The yatra is scheduled to enter Telangana on August 12, travelling through Makthal and Narayanpet before halting at Gulbarga. On August 13, it will proceed via Humnabad, Basavakalyan and Bidar before reaching Hyderabad. The following day, the procession will travel from Hyderabad through Kamareddy, Nizamabad and Nirmal before halting at Adilabad. On August 15, it will leave Adilabad and continue towards Nagpur.The TPCC said a series of public programmes would be organised along the route to disseminate the message of national integration and patriotism and encourage citizens to uphold the values safeguarding the country’s unity.
