The subsidiary of Malaysian property giant Malaysian Resources Corporation Berhad (MRCB) is selling a 36-acre land parcel in Cyberjaya for potential data center development.
MRCB announced on Friday, August 7, that it had entered into a conditional sale and purchase agreement with Digital Cosmos, under which MRCB would sell seven parcels of land for RM419 million ($102m).

Digital Cosmos was incorporated in Malaysia just three months ago. The company is a subsidiary of Digital Cosmos (S) Pte Ltd, which was incorporated in Singapore in June.
MRCB’s filing with Malaysia’s bourse states that the company is “principally involved in the development and operation of data centers.” It is unclear whether the company has previously developed data centers.
