Despite Youth Month ending, the University of the Western Cape (UWC) continues its dedication to tackling youth unemployment.
With the aim of building a comprehensive and encouraging ecosystem, UWC's Centre for Entrepreneurship and Innovation (CEI) has already conducted seven out of 14 planned training sessions.
Held at the UWC Innovation Hub in Parow, these sessions have reached 50 unemployed young people over the last two months.
CEI Director Abe Oliver noted that the participant pool has expanded significantly beyond UWC alumni.
