A woman identified as Innocent Serah has allegedly stabbed her husband, Innocent Nwaoji, to death in Umuokereke Ngwa, Obingwa Local Government Area of Abia State.
PUNCH Metro learnt on Sunday that the incident, which occurred on Saturday night, threw residents of the community into shock.
Although the circumstances surrounding the alleged stabbing remain unclear, it was gathered that Nwaoji was allegedly stabbed while he was asleep.
A community member, David Amaraizu, confirmed the incident in a telephone conversation with journalists on Sunday.
He said the development had shocked residents of the community.
